Perlemoen Hard Shell

Named after one of the toughest things on our coastline. An abalone shell shrugs off rocks, current and years underwater without cracking, and that’s the job this case does for whatever you can’t afford to lose or scratch.

Made in South Africa: pressed EVA foam in a thirteen tonne press, bonded with a Lycra outer before it takes its shape, so it holds its form and still looks good doing it. Lycra lined on the inside too, with a stitched velcro patch at the back for whatever attachments we build for it down the line.

Mount it to the front or inside of your Otter 30 II on the MOLLE slits and it gives the whole pack a new compartment. Take it off and it works just as well on its own, for sunglasses, pliers, leader line, sunblock, anything you want to grab quickly without digging through the main pack.
